Cruise Control offers driving instruction to all ages and specializes in the state-certified driving course required for 15- and 16-year-olds to receive their provisional/conditional driver's license. Our complete course also includes the SC State Driving Test from one of our certified instructors. The course also qualifies drivers age 15 to 24 for insurance premium discounts up to 10% by providing a copy of the course completion certificate to your insurance company.

Our course fulfills the state requirement of eight hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel (BTW) driving instruction. We include the SC State Driving Test in our Complete package. Classroom instruction is normally done on a Saturday from 8:30am to 4:30pm - our classroom sessions are currently only offered online. The six hours BTW is usually accomplished in three two-hour sessions or, for very inexperienced students, four one-and-a-half hour lessons.

Individual hourly instruction is also available for those adults just learning to drive or for those "full course" students who wish to receive additional lessons beyond their original six hours BTW.

We use the Kia Forte and Nissan Sentra for our driving instruction. They have automatic transmissions and are specially equipped with a dual-brake assembly and rearview mirror on the passenger side.
